Gifts from the 'art.

In the spirit of my ongoing conversation about gifts with meaning, I want to encourage you to shop on Etsy. If you're not yet familiar with Etsy, it is an online marketplace focused on handmade, artistic, and vintage items. I know lots of incredible women artists who sell their one-of-a-kind artworks and products on this popular site and I love to seek out their treasures.

All of the women I know who sell via Etsy are artists or entrepreneurs who work incredibly hard to make a living doing what they love. These women have huge hearts, soaring spirits, and great talents for bringing beauty into the world.

I know it is late in the game, but please consider supporting women artists this holiday season. Lots of shop owners are taking orders through this weekend, so you still have time to get those last minute unique gifts. You'll have a great time wandering around looking at these online shops!

Below are some pics of random items I've purchased in the last year. Gorgeous, whimsical, and fun — right!? (Disclaimer: I didn't purchase that exact hat, but I LOVE it and I own LOTS of ADS hats!) I've also included a list of some Etsy shop owners whom I know from an online class taught by artist Kelly Rae Roberts. I haven't yet had a chance to check out all of their shops, but I plan to do so SOON — I've seen lots of their work posted in our Facebook Group as it is in-progress and I am so impressed with the mryiad of styles, colors, and textures. These gals are AMAZING.

What could be better than finding affordable, unique, creative gifts and supporting women artists/entrepreneurs at the same time?! Merry, merry!
